Greek Deco

Another visionary Dresser design.  This one has a decidedly deco form and creates a marvelous tiled effect, with many layers that allow for multiple opportunities for palette exploration.  The combination of elements results in stars, squares, rays of light, wings, and fleur de lis.

This image shows the backside of this floorcloth. Our floorcloths have a two inch hem with mitred corners, a layer of carpet padding and then a final layer of waterproof vinyl. This backing provides cushion to ease leg stress and prevents spills that seep underneath the floorcloth from causing damage.

This palette is based on one of our favorite pieces of antique wallpaper from Bolling & Company's portfolio. Obviously, a completely fabulous palette from one design does not necessarily work when used in a completely different design.  But, we think it works here and is certainly not a palette we would have invented for this completely unique floorcloth.
