Field House

This floorcloth design is based on a pattern sketched by noted historian, William Seale, for the Field House Museum in Missouri.  Stencils were created based on the sketch.

This floorcloth was commissioned by the Texas Historical Commission as part of a renovation of The Starr Family Home located in Marshall, Texas. The house was built in 1871 and was home to four generations of Starrs. It became a historic site and 1986 and was renovated and re-opened in 2011.

The floorcloth measured 10’ 6” x 37’ and was cut to fit perfectly into the front hall by the THC personnel who installed it.
