The floor cloth is absolutely splendid!!! Yes, I love ❤️ it!! My dogs love it, too! My elderly Collie feels safe and secure on the floor cloth; maintaining good traction has become very important to him in his old age. It’s super easy to clean if my young Collie brings some mud indoors. The corner blocks with the big yellow flower are a wonderful touch, and the color matches couldn’t be more perfect. I can’t say enough about how thrilled I am with Ariel Grace Design.

Floorcloths are the perfect combination of beautiful art and functionality. They have been a mainstay in our house for the past 15 years, and are durable and easy to clean, especially since we have dogs. Due to the coating, muddy paws and accidents on the floorcloth can be wiped away immediately, as can food spills in the kitchen. We have been buying floorcloths from Gwen for 15 years, and suffice it to say that nearly every room in our houses (main house and beach house) have a floorcloth or two. Being art lovers, it is a pleasure to have beautiful designs on the floor, color coordinated with the room. Gwen uses many designs, from original colonial designs, to late 18th century Dresser designs, to her own custom designs. No other floorcloths compare to Gwen’s in fabrication or beauty. Gwen is a true artiste and artisan with a great eye, and is a pleasure to work with.

After finding 100yr plus floor covering that had been concealed in my kitchen, my only hope was to have the pattern recreated. I renovated a 1912 firehouse for reuse as my home. I knew I wanted the floor coverings to be floorcloths as they can be custom-sized and designed to perfectly fit the character of each room - and they protect the floors and are easy to clean! Gwen and I collaborated and arrived at the decision to use Christopher Dresser designs from his 1875 book, Studies in Design. The results are spectacular.
