Chintz

This is an intricate, delicate, all-over floral pattern from The Stencil Library.  It is smaller in scale than most floorcloth patterns and creates an interesting field from a distance with the lovely floral execution becoming apparent as you get closer to the pattern.

The size of the stencil was increased for this floorcloth, making the intricate flower details more apparent.  This floorcloth resides in the kitchen area of a charming cabin in Nashville, Tennessee.  The palette is based on a lovely rug in the adjoining sitting area.
